Hallo David

My freund has been at your workshop and says that Guruji (Pattabhi Jois) originally showed you pranayama exercises.

Can you tell me a little about these and how I start to practise also?

Dear Heidi,

Yes, Pattabhi Jois showed me the Ashtanga Yoga pranayama in 1973, and I have been enjoying practicing it everyday since.  The pranayama can only be taught in person.  For the present, let your 3 finishing postures be your pranayama and do them with more mental focus, stronger mulabandha, and deep, but comfortable breathing.  "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear".
