Berkeley workshop, 2004

Dear David,

Thank you for coming to teach at 7th Heaven.  I hope your experience was good.
I hope that you had a great impact on the practice of many of the students here.
The simple teaching, if it hurts you are doing something wrong is important.
In fact with your permission, I would post a link to you letter on our web site.

I enjoyed your insights into yoga very much.  It was refreshing to hear a teacher
who has seen much over many years address yoga in its essential form.  I can
tell you from my perspective that I miss the deep shared feelings of generosity,
community and caring that was integral to the practice that I started 30 years ago.

I think the best legacy one could have is to participate in a 30 year long pot luck
of friends who support one another.

Warmest regards,

Michael
