Breathing while teaching

Hi David,
 I find myself in ujjayi breathing to stay with the count of the students while leading, and also to remind them to breath.
Then I'm exhausted  from deep breathing for an hour and a half!  Is this method what other teachers do, or did I just pick it up at a workshop and hold onto it??  I always feel drained, like I need a savanana myself after teaching.

Whats a yogi to do?

Dear L Yogini,
Your yoga practice is having the exact opposite effect upon you that it should be having.
With every move and every breath your prana should be increasing.  By the end of your practice you should feel energized and rejuvenated.  One then lies in corpse to harvest and absorb this energy that is vibrating in every cell.
If your practice leaves you drained, you are doing it wrong.  If it hurts, you are doing it wrong.
Letters like yours break my heart...
I hope that my workshops will bring some light into this vast area of darkness.
